Taking a look back into Type Con's theme history, I chose to redesign the 2015 theme CONDENSED. Seeing that Colorado's state colors are red - blue - yellow, I thought I should make it stand out by switching the cool toned primaries with secondary colors and a warm yellow. I made an angular design by implicating diamond shapes and hexagons; for one- to implicate the word condensed through aspects and two, to force myself not to copy any aspects of the original.
I have put some mockups below for visuals of how I would use my design.
